My cousin Makayla came up and spent the whole week with us and on Wednesday the weather was SO beautiful we couldn't let it go to waste. So Daddy took the day off and we all went to Epcot to see the beautiful flower displays all over the park. Oh, and I got to ride all my favorite rides, of course. I even tried the one with the dinosaurs this time and I found out they weren't so scary after all.

On the weekend Poppy came up to visit along with Makayla and we got to do some fun things together. First we went to a big strawberry patch and picked some wonderful strawberries to take home and then we explored an old fort called Fort Christmas. I thought we were going to see christmas trees and lots of decorations, but would you believe it had nothing to do with Christmas? There were lots of neat old buildings to look at and a huge playground (which was my favorite part). I didn't know they had those back then.

One day Mommy and Daddy noticed my skin color didn't look right. It usually looks pretty pale right before I get another transfusion. But this time it was very yellow. My eyes were very yellow too. So Mommy took me to the hospital and they said I had to stay until they could figure out what was wrong. Mommy and I ended up having to stay for 4 days while the doctors ran a bunch of tests and gave me medicine. Daddy and Lily came by every day to visit. It turns out there was something wrong with my gall bladder but by the fourth day it had cleared up. My doctor said it was a condition that can be common with kids who get lots and lots of transfusions, so from now on I have to take medicine to keep it from happening again.
