Today was my second Valentine's Day. I'm still not sure what the whole thing's about and I don't even remember my first one. It was fun though. Mommy and I got dressed up and paid a surprise visit to Daddy at work. He was so happy to see me. We even all went out to lunch together. Later that night I got a card from Mommy and Daddy and Nana and Poppy sent me one too. Maybe next Valentine's Day Mommy and Daddy will let me eat some of that candy stuff I see everybody else getting.

Today Mommy and Daddy took me to a wonderful park. It's a small park that had one of the biggest trees I've ever seen. The tree was neat and all, but I was happy to just run around and enjoy the pretty park and nice weather. There were all kinds of sycamore seeds and leaves on the ground to pick up and play with. Mommy played peek-a-boo from behind a tree with me and I chased her around and around. I love to run. Before I knew it, it was time to go home because it was getting dark. I hope we get to go again soon.
