Today was a beautiful day. There wasn't a cloud in the sky. The air was cool. A breeze was blowing. And Nana and Papa came up to visit. Since it was such a nice day, we decided to head into town and enjoy the local arts festival. It was set up all the way around a big lake. I got to cruise around in my stroller and watch all the busy people. It wasn't the most interesting thing for me, but it was so nice to be feeling good again and enjoying the outdoors after last month.

My last transfusion didn't last very long. It was only four weeks since the last one and here I was needing another one. Oh well, hopefully the doctors will figure out what's going on soon. I'm just grateful that there are always such nice people out there who are willing to share some of their blood with me.

All those weeks of physical therapy has finally paid off. Miss Marie has been working with me on so many techniques, but standing is one I really wanted to figure out. There is so much more I can get into if I am standing up. Today I was finally able to stand on my own. Well, while holding on to something, of course. Plus it took a little help from Mama and Dada to get me up. But once I'm up I can stay up. It's a whole 'nother world up here.

Not too much has been going on this month, other than the weekly PT and helmet adjustments. But I'm fine with that. I still manage to stay entertained, and do a little entertaining myself, of course. Here are some pictures of what I've been up to.

One of our cats is named Isabelle. But I call her "Biz". She's not too sure what to think about me, but I think she's hilarious. I never can get close to her though. She's too quick for me. She'd much rather stay out of reach, but today was a special treat. Dada grabbed her and held her for me so I could pet her. How exhilarating! I finally got to touch the elusive Biz. I couldn't control my excitement. I giggled and squealed with delight. This of course, did not sit well with Biz and she tried to get away, but Dada kept her from going anywhere. I don't think she'll be getting close to either of us any time soon after today.
