I wasn't feeling too good the past few days. But the nurses came and hooked me up to a tube and after a while I was feeling much better.

I've gotta tell ya, these nurse ladies here at the hospital that take care of us babies sure are special. They take care of us 'round the clock - change our diapers, give us baths, feed us, put us in the swing, and tuck us in our beds nice and cozy. If it wasn't for the needles, this place could be a baby day spa. I'm not a big fan of bath time or when they have to check my vitals, but I know they're doing what's best for me. Don't tell anyone, but nurse Aimee is my favorite. She is really nice.

Wow I just wasn't feeling good again. I felt sleepy all the time. The nurses came and hooked me up to that tube again. It wasn't long before I was feeling better again.

Nana and Papa drove over 2 hours to come see me again. I had just gotten my second blood transfusion and they wanted to make sure I was alright. They sure do love me. Nana rocked me in her arms and fed me some lunch. She even got a few burps out of me when I was done. Then Mama wanted to hold me, but I wasn't having any of it, so she let Papa hold me. That was nice. My belly was nice and full and it wasn't long before I was sound asleep.

When I woke up this morning things were different. Mama and Dada were there and they had this big seat with a handle on it. And the nurses were getting me all ready to go somewhere. Come to find out, I was actually getting to go home! What a glorious day. Before long they put me in the seat and nurse Aimee carried me all the way down to the front door of the hospital. Nana was there to help take us home. This was the first time I got to see the outside world. It all seemed so big.

When we got home everyone snuggled me the rest of the day. Home felt very good. And at the end of the day I got to sleep in my very own bed. No more machines beeping and neighbor babies carrying on all night. Just Dada snoring.

Today I got to meet a wonderful lady by the name of Doctor B. Mama says she's my pediatrician. She is so nice. She checked me over and made sure I was in good shape. Mama says I get to come see her again soon.

Mama had this great idea to wrap me up like a present and give me to Dada for Father's Day. What the heck, it sounded like fun. So she wrapped a pretty bow around me and we snuck up on Dada and surprised him. I think he enjoyed it. He snuggled with me for a long time.

This is starting to become a regular thing. I'm not sure why, but I hadn't been feeling well again. Sleepy all the time and my skin turns orange. Mama took me back to the hospital and they gave me some more of that red stuff. I feel better now.
