Mama and Dada took me to a place called Olan Mills where this lady kept trying to get me to smile and then flashed bright lights in my face. What was that about? Dada made me giggle and she flashed the lights at me again. Then Mama and Dada joined me and we all got lights flashed in our face. I guess it was worth it because when we were done we had some nice pictures.

Yesterday I got my helmet. Today I had to wear it. I'm not quite sure what I think about it. It's designed to redirect the growth of my head. This will hopefully make my head reshape itself as I get bigger. All I know is it makes me sweaty. They say I have to wear it almost all the time for a couple months.

Well it was good while it lasted, but it's that time again. My blood keeps running out so they have to give me more. At least I'll be feeling good for Christmas. Only two more weeks!

Today I got a new toy. Dada calls it "the mothership". I'm not sure what it's called, but I can sit in it and play with all kinds of toys at once. It makes lots of sounds and has flashing lights. I also got something else. It's called a Bumbo seat. Mama puts me in it so I can sit up, since I'm not too good at it on my own yet. It also keeps me in one place since I can't get out of it by myself. I'm not sure what I think about that.

We drove down to see Mama's family yesterday and when I woke up today it was something special. Mama brought me out in my red PJ's and everybody said, "Merry Christmas!" What a fun day that was. Everybody gave each other presents and I even got a few myself. I wasn't sure how to open them so I just chewed on the wrapping. The presents also had shiny bows on them. Oh, shiny bows are so fascinating. Forget the presents. I'd rather just play with the shiny bows all day.

Much to my surprise, I found out that Christmas wasn't over yet. We got to go over to see Dada's family too, and lo and behold, there were more presents. What a day. I got to chew on more wrapping and play with more bows. I also got to play with my cousins, Brittany and Emily. I could get used to this Christmas thing. I wonder how long 'till the next one.
