My mother had a pernicious anemia which became life threatening. An internist in Greenwood, SC referred her case to Duke University. A physician ther used an experimental drug used for other conditions, interferon, and this changed the course of the anemia..mother lived almost 40 more years..passed away June 2005 at 98 years and a half. We, at Nazareth Baptist Church, will be praying for Sydney. One of the names of our Lord Jesus is Jehovah raphe, the God who heals. He bore stripes in His sinless Body which should have been ours, not His. But, He had a purpose even in that suffering..that Christians be able to pray to Him about the sicknesses and infirmities we and our loved ones have. Psalm 103 mentions many of the born-again Christian's benefits which include the healing of our diseases as well as the forgiveness of our sins. In Heaven, such prayers will not be needed for
christians as we will have glorified bodies like that of our Lord Jesus Christ, I John 3.
